Export sales coordinator in work-study contract

Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team as a sales assistant (work-study contract).
You will be responsible for supporting the sales team in various tasks, including new item set up, sample management, development of product spec sheets, and event planning.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student in a work-study program (ideally 2 days at school and 3 days at work).

Role specifics responsibilities
• Support the account managers on daily business development efforts,
• Manage PO receipt, review, and input,
• Manage the new item set up process while working interdepartmentally with appropriate contacts, as needed,
• Coordinate and order samples as needed for sales presentations, mailing, or tradeshows,
• Participate and interact in department meetings while providing project updates
• Assist in coordinating logistics, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring a seamless event experience,
• Handle quality claims,
• Handle product information requests from customers and the sales team,
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed,
• Improve job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications; store checks; tradeshow attendance,

Education
BTS, bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field.

• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong organizational and time management skills a must.
• Exquisite communication and people skills.
• Basic core math and analytical skills are required.
• Must have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft business software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus but not required.
