The raclette produced by the Livradois dairy has earned international recognition at the latest edition of the World Championship Cheese Contest, held on March 5, 2026.
At this prestigious global competition, Livradois Raclette received an outstanding score of 98.7/100, highlighting the exceptional quality and craftsmanship behind this traditional cheese.
This raclette cheese reflects a long-standing cheesemaking heritage dating back to 1948. Made using 100% local milk from the Auvergne region, in the heart of the volcanic region, a preserved terroir with mineral‑rich pastures. This unique natural environment provides cows with exceptional feed, resulting in particularly aromatic, high‑quality milk , the hallmark of cheeses from Auvergne.
Carefully aged for eight weeks, Livradois Raclette develops a distinctive flavor and smooth melting texture, making it a favorite among raclette lovers and cheese connoisseurs alike.
Congratulations to the Livradois team for showcasing the excellence of Auvergne’s cheesemaking expertise.
