Maison Gabriel Coulet has once again demonstrated its cheesemaking excellence with the Brebis Folies Espelette Pepper, earning an impressive score of 98.5/100 at the latest World Championship Cheese Contest.

Founded in 1872, Maison Gabriel Coulet is a family-run dairy spanning five generations of ancestral know-how. It holds the distinction of being the first independent PDO Roquefort producer and the third largest PDO Roquefort producer in France.

The Brebis Folie is an uncooked pressed tomme cheese made from pasteurized sheep’s milk (collected for PDO Roquefort). The addition of Espelette pepper gives it a bold kick, delivering powerful and intense flavors on the palate. Its soft yet firm texture melts beautifully in the mouth, making it a truly memorable cheese experience.

This outstanding recognition celebrates Maison Gabriel Coulet’s heritage.
